The Autumn Autosolo ran on the 21st October at Blyton Park but due to a couple of clashes with other events we had only 9 entries.

We ran 3 different tests for the competitors present and after 3 runs at each test, the results were as follows:

1st – Gary Dixon – Austin Mini – 382.05

2nd – Alan Jackson – Rover 25 – 420.21

3rd – Ian Faulkner – Ford Focus – 428.64

4th – Mick Smith – Ford Escort Mk4 – 441.12

5th – Rick Wood – Ford Focus – 455.54

6th – Brian Moore – Toyota Corolla – 461.36

7th – Colin Ladley – Peugeot 106 – 462.36

8th – Stuart Coldron – Ford Escort Mk1 – 476.46

9th – Kellie Wood – BMW 3series – 490.70

Congratulations to Gary for the rather convincing win, although it could be argued that he did enjoy a ‘small car’ advantage with the Mini!

Special mention should go to Rick and Kellie Wood who only came to have a watch but decided to have a go, Rick using Ians Ford Focus (and would have been much further up the results if he hadn’t hit as many cones!) and Kellie her BMW 3 series diesel (not at all suited to the event but fairplay for having a go!).

Many thanks to Blyton Park for the venue, the entrants for turning out and Ernie Jackson for marshalling (and standing the odd cone back up).
